1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how FintPrint ApS ("FintPrint," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the website and software-as-a-service platform Loadskeeper ("Loadskeeper," the "Service," available at loadskeeper.com), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data of individuals who visit our website or use the Service ("you," the "User").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR"), the Danish Data Protection Act (Databeskyttelsesloven), and, where applicable, U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA") and comparable state statutes.

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, you must not use the Service.

2. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is FintPrint ApS, the company that operates Loadskeeper. Its company details are in section 17, Contact Us.

FintPrint ApS has not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer (DPO), as this is not currently required under Article 37 GDPR given the nature, scale, and scope of our processing activities. All data protection inquiries may be directed to support@loadskeeper.com.

3. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal data we collect:

  • when you visit loadskeeper.com;
  • when you create an account, register for, or use the Service;
  • when you communicate with us (support requests, e-mails, forms);
  • when you make payments through our payment processor;
  • through cookies and similar tracking technologies used on our website.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that may be linked from the Service; we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

4. Categories of Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you interact with the Service, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

4.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account data: username, e-mail address, and password (stored only in hashed form).
  • Billing and payment data: when you subscribe or buy Fleet statement packs, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment details and billing information (such as your name, billing address and, if you choose to enter one, a tax ID). From Stripe we receive the e-mail address used for the payment, the amount, and the payment status. Payment card numbers never reach our systems.
  • Service data: what you enter in the Service: loads (cities, miles, rates, pay, load numbers and notes), extras, deductions and expenses (including fuel gallons), weekly and monthly charges, settlement weeks and the amounts you received, the figures from statements you import, and whether you are a company driver or an owner-operator (who pays for the truck and diesel).
  • Settlement statements you import: if you choose to import a pay settlement statement (PDF or photo), the text of the statement (or, for scans and photos, a reduced image of it) is sent to our AI processing provider to extract the figures: loads, pay, other pay, deductions, advances, net pay and escrow balance. We store only those figures in your account. We do not store the statement file or image. The statement may contain personal data printed on it, such as your name and address; we instruct the provider not to return such data, and we do not keep it. Rate confirmations you upload to log a load are read the same way; only the load details (load number, broker, cities, dates, miles, rate and equipment) are kept, not the file.
  • Load checks: when you use "Is this load worth it?", the app does the math on your device and sends our AI processing provider only the numbers of that check: the miles, rate and pay you typed, the cities if you typed them, and your averages from the app (pay, fuel and other costs per mile, your usual week), and whether you are a company driver or an owner-operator. Your name, e-mail and the details of your other loads are not sent. The provider writes a short opinion that is shown to you and not kept. We keep only the time of each check, to apply a daily limit. For the cost of diesel, the app uses the weekly average diesel price published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA); our server gets it from EIA once or twice a day, without sending any of your data.
  • Truck stops near you: the "Truck stops" button on the home screen opens Google Maps on your device (the app if you have it, otherwise the website) with a search for truck stops. Google Maps finds your location itself, under Google's own privacy policy. LoadsKeeper does not ask for, receive or store your location for this.
  • Carrier offers: the "Carrier offers" screen shows job offers from trucking carriers. Our server reads carriers' public recruiting web pages and the public FMCSA company census, and our AI processing provider writes a short summary of each offer. None of your personal data is used or sent for this. The app compares each offer with your own pay on your device, using your loads and charges in the app or the numbers you type. If you type them, those numbers (your percent, your gross and your charges a week) are saved with your account like your other settings; they are not sent to carriers or to anyone else. When you open a carrier's page or call a carrier, you leave LoadsKeeper, and that carrier's own privacy policy applies.
  • Fleet data: if you use Fleet (for owners with drivers), the details you enter about your company (including its EIN) and your drivers (names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, pay terms and, for their 1099 forms, their mailing address and the last four digits of their SSN or EIN; we never ask for or keep the full number), their loads, extra pay and deductions, and the pay statements you make. Rate confirmations and carrier settlements you upload are read the same way as settlement statements: the text or a reduced image is sent to our AI processing provider, and only the load details and amounts are kept, not the file. You are responsible for having the right to give us your drivers' information; we use it only to provide Fleet to you. A Fleet account and a driver's own account are kept apart: a company using Fleet can't see the loads, settlements, notes or checks a driver keeps in his own driver account.
  • Statement check codes: each pay statement saved in Fleet carries a short code. Anyone who has the code, which is printed on the statement, can open a page on loadskeeper.com that shows that statement's company name, number, driver name, pay period and net pay, so a driver or an accountant can check that the paper is genuine. Nothing else is shown, and the code can't be guessed in practice.
  • Support and correspondence: information you provide when contacting our support team, including the content of your messages and any attachments.

4.2 Information collected automatically

  • Server logs: the web servers of our hosting provider record technical data about each request, such as IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, and browser type. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7 below.

4.3 Information from third parties

  • Payment confirmation and limited transaction data from Stripe (e.g., payment status, last four digits of card, card brand — not full card numbers).

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (Article 9 GDPR, e.g., health, biometric, or genetic data) and ask that you refrain from submitting such data through the Service.

5. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes, relying on the legal bases available under Article 6(1) GDPR:

PurposeLegal Basis
Creating and managing your accountPerformance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Providing, operating, and maintaining the ServicePerformance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Processing payments and subscriptions via StripePerformance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Responding to support requests and communicationsPerformance of a contract / Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(b), (f))
Sending service-related notices (e.g., changes to Terms, security alerts)Legal obligation / Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(c), (f))
Improving, testing, and securing the ServiceLegitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))
Preventing fraud, abuse, and ensuring platform securityLegitimate interests / Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(f), (c))
Complying with tax, accounting, and legal obligationsLegal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))
Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claimsLegitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time (see Section 10).

6. Automated Decision-Making

We do not currently subject you to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide the information required under Article 22 GDPR.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use only the cookies and browser storage the Service needs to work. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

  • Strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you logged in while you use the Service, and a "remember me" cookie that keeps you logged in on your device for up to 30 days. Both stop working when you log out.
  • Storage on your device: the Service keeps your settings (such as light or dark mode and your usual pay percentage) in your browser's storage. So that the app keeps working when you have no signal, it also keeps a copy of your Service data there, until it has been saved to our servers. This copy is deleted when you log out.

Visit counts: to see how many visitors of our website get through the sign-up, we count each visit's steps (for example: opened the home page, opened the sign-up form, created an account), which of our links it came from (for example, one of our ads), whether the page arrived compressed and how many seconds it took to show. Each visit is counted under a random number that exists only while the page is open. Nothing is stored on your device for this, and we do not record your IP address, your device or who you are. These counts are kept for up to 180 days.

Because we only use cookies and storage that are needed for the Service, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add other cookies, we will ask for your consent first. You can delete cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings; you may then need to log in again.

8. How We Share Your Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share personal data with the following categories of recipients, each acting under appropriate contractual safeguards (including, where required, Standard Contractual Clauses and/or Data Processing Agreements):

  • Hosting and e-mail provider: Simply A/S (Denmark), which hosts our website, database and the e-mails we send (such as password reset codes).
  • Payment processor: Stripe, which processes payments, subscriptions, and related billing data on our behalf.
  • AI processing provider: Anthropic, PBC (United States), which processes the settlement statements and rate confirmations you choose to import, only to extract the figures described in Section 4.1, and the numbers of the load checks you ask for, only to write the short opinion described there.
  • Professional advisors: lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers, where necessary.
  • Public authorities: where required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or governmental request.
  • Business transferees: in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards.

A current list of our sub-processors is available upon request at support@loadskeeper.com.

9. International Data Transfers

FintPrint ApS is established in Denmark, and our primary processing activities take place within the European Economic Area ("EEA"). However, some of our service providers (including Stripe and Anthropic) may process personal data in, or transfer personal data to, the United States or other countries outside the EEA.

Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection through one or more of the following safeguards, as applicable:

  • transfers to countries recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection (Art. 45 GDPR);
  • the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR);
  • the recipient's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable; and/or
  • other appropriate safeguards recognized under GDPR.

You may request further information about the safeguards we use for a specific transfer by contacting us at support@loadskeeper.com.

10. Your Rights Under GDPR

To exercise any applicable rights, contact us at support@loadskeeper.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, tax, or reporting obligations. As a general matter:

  • Account data and Service data are retained for as long as your account exists. When you ask us to close your account, we delete them within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Billing and transaction records are retained for the period required under Danish accounting law (currently 5 years from the end of the relevant financial year).
  • Support communications are retained for up to 2 years after your last message to us.

Where retention is no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize the data.

13. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), passwords stored only in hashed form, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Danish Data Protection Agency without undue delay, and in any event within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with Article 33 GDPR. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to you, we will also notify you directly, in accordance with Article 34 GDPR.

15. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date, and, where required by law, we will notify you of material changes (e.g., by e-mail or a notice on the Service).
